Rector of the University of Medan Area Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng, M.Sc , together with the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Muazzul SH, M.Hum, and the Head of BARKI, Medan Area University, provided basic food assistance to students who could not return to campus due to the Covid 19 outbreak .
The Chancellor of the University of Medan Area together with the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs UMA and the Head of BARKI visited 2 points where the contract houses (Kost) for students who could not return to campus were related to the Covid 19 virus outbreak. During the first visit, the Rector and his staff were welcomed happily by Medan Area University students. There are 7 students of the Faculty of Agriculture who received assistance from UMA.

They are very grateful because UMA cares for students who cannot return to their villages due to the Covid 19 outbreak. The Chancellor of the Medan Area University also provides motivation and encourages students to study hard again in order to produce innovative graduates and graduate on time.
As for the gratitude from students of the Faculty of Agriculture, agrotechnology study program, Ahmad F. Berimbing, gave a big thank you to UMA for giving us the basic necessities that made us enough to eat all seven of us in this contract house (Kost).

Furthermore, the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor and Head of BARKI UMA continued their journey to point 2 of the student rented locations which were located on a fishing rod, UMA students happily welcomed the Chancellor and his staff in providing basic food assistance to students.
This time, the students who were visited were very happy and proud, the Chancellor of UMA came to the rented house (boarding house) with a shock because he was proud that there were so many basic necessities provided. According to Kori Isabella Hutabarat, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, informatics engineering studies, the provision of this assistance is very much compared to other campuses.

This time, the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs at UMA provided motivation and enthusiasm for students to be more active in achieving achievements and graduate on time. Hopefully the assistance provided must be more active in studying in studying the Covid 19 outbreak.
