Medan Area University is a campus that is close to the community, the closeness is evidenced by the care of the Medan Area University to the community in the social service activities of Ramadan by providing assistance and compensation to the Orphanage Orphanage. The gift was entrusted to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences to distribute aid and compensation. With this mandate, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences seeks an orphanage that really needs this assistance coupled with the condition of the COVID-19 outbreak which is increasingly widespread and worsening the community’s economy. With various considerations, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences set the Takaful Orphanage as the right choice. As fellow human beings, we are obliged to help one another, especially those whose luck is less fortunate than ours. It is hoped that through this social service, the orphans from Takaful Orphanage can feel their happiness and their needs are met.
Monday, May 4, 2020, Medan Area University and the Big Family of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences handed over Social Benefits to TAKAFUL ORPHANAGE, PATUMBAK DISTRICT, DELI SERDANG DISTRICT. The benefits in the form of basic food (rice, oil, granulated sugar, biscuits, tea, European eggs and milk) and cash.
This activity was attended by the Vice Dean of Bid. Student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences Mr. Yurial Arief Lubis, S. Sos, M.IP as well as representatives of the Lecturers of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
